MGAC Expands Leadership Team with New Chief Human Resources Officer
MGAC is excited to welcome Bryan Otte. As Chief Human Resources Officer, Bryan will oversee talent acquisition, career development, and will strengthen and build our Human Resources team as MGAC continues to grow and invest in the future.
Bryan comes to MGAC having worked with global brands with substantial operations in the UK and India and across a wide range of industries to help companies make the most of their single most valuable asset: its talented workforce. Most recently, Bryan led his own Human Resources consultancy, HRPlus Group, where he partnered with a diverse, cross-continental client base. Prior to that, Bryan served as Chief Human Resources Officer for SmartBrief, a role he held for fifteen years. Before stepping into the Human Resources world, Bryan worked in marketing and operations for Time Life, Discovery, and U.S. News & World Report.
“Bryan is joining MGAC at the perfect time,” says Mark Anderson, President and Chief Executive Officer of MGAC. “As the firm continues to grow its multinational footprint, Bryan’s global vision and proven ability to build and champion diverse, inclusive, and collaborative teams will make him a huge asset to the firm. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”
“MGAC is a company that’s always prioritized and found its success through its people,” says Bryan. “So many companies view their talent as simply a workforce, and Human Resources as an afterthought—to their own detriment. Here at MGAC, there’s an incredibly diverse, wonderfully skilled team and an established culture that’s all about centering everyone’s unique talents and experiences, so everyone on Team MGAC can grow and thrive in their careers. I couldn’t be more excited to build on that strong foundation and step into this unique and exciting organization.”
Though he has called greater DC home for more than 20 years, Bryan is originally from Colorado and holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado. He spent part of his teen years in Holland and is fluent in Dutch. When he’s not working, Bryan enjoys running and spending time with his family.
