Please join us in welcoming Tom Reese, MGAC’s newest Vice President of Business Development. Tom comes to MGAC’s Seattle office with a diverse slate of experience in the built environment. His 25-year career, deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest, spans business development, project management, project operations, and public sector work. Within his new role at the firm, Tom will build on MGAC’s strong existing partnerships in the Puget Sound Region, while simultaneously seeking out strategic growth opportunities.
“At MGAC, we know that the best leaders are those who can truly relate to their team because they have had their boots on the ground and lived a range of experiences firsthand,” says Ashley O’Connor, Managing Director. “Tom has rolled up his sleeves to do the work. He has represented clients and has overseen teams. He is as well-rounded as one can be in our industry, and we are eager to see him hit the ground running as he looks to strategically grow our Seattle office.”
“It’s an exciting time to come onboard with MGAC,” Tom says. “There’s innovation everywhere you look in the region, and the team in place here in Seattle is uniquely suited to take on the groundbreaking and forward-looking projects the Pacific Northwest has become known for. My previous experience has taught me the importance of a highly engaged team, and as someone focused on building on our portfolio and capabilities, I look forward to empowering every team member to be a key player in our growth.”
Originally from the small western Montana town of Alberton, Tom has called Kirkland, Washington, home for the last six years. While not working, you can find him staying active across a variety of outdoor pursuits. An avid skier, Tom volunteers as a ski patroller EMT each winter. He also keeps busy training for marathons and triathlons, and chasing after his golden retriever, Maxwell.
