MGAC Announces Four Promotions

In recognition of their efforts to further the firm’s growth and advancement, MGAC proudly announces the promotion of four senior level team members. This year marks MGAC’s twenty-second as owner’s advocates, project managers, cost consultants, technology specialists, and trusted advisors to the built environment, now reaching far beyond its headquarters in Washington, DC. PROMOTED FROM VICE PRESIDENT TO MANAGING DIRECTOR

Steve Hay, PMP, has over 15 years of industry experience and is a tremendous contribution to the firm. Since joining MGAC in 2007, Steve has overseen several large-scale development projects and highly-visible commercial construction projects for a variety of private and public-sector clients across the United States. His direct management style and hands-on approach brings each project a high level of ownership, focused on exceeding requirements without compromising quality, budget, or schedule, and his expertise and proficiency with multiple delivery models and procurement strategies maximizes efficiency and ensures that client expectations are exceeded.

PROMOTED FROM PROJECT MANAGER TO SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Kyle Fenner is a leading industry professional with seven years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a focus on multi-million dollar mission critical facilities. Based in Raleigh-Durham, NC, Kyle is an expert in contract negotiation and management, budget/cost control, building commissioning, schedule development/implementation, and quality control. Kyle has the proven ability to create and motivate highly efficient construction project teams and always exceeds client expectations.

Betsy Rimlinger, NCIDQ, IIDA, LEED AP, has over 13 years of experience in the construction industry. As a successful project manager, she excels at team building and leading clients through all project process phases, from initial programming through punch list, occupancy, and close-out. She has worked with an array of government, commercial, retail, and academic clients. Her expertise spans strategic planning, procurement, design specification review, construction delivery, and furniture with experience on some of MGAC’s most complex office relocations, renovations, and new construction projects.

Scott Volk’s resume is largely dedicated to complex and technical projects, having worked as a general contractor on greenfield and fit-up projects. Based in Denver, CO, Scott possesses a strong understanding of challenges and solutions encountered with critical environment facilities. With eight years of construction industry experience, Scott has worked with over 74 MW of data center design and construction.
