Isabella Villegas Joins MGAC as a Vice President of Project Management
Please join us in welcoming Isabella Villegas as MGAC’s newest Vice President of Project Management. Isabella earned her Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Waterloo, as well as her Project Management Professional Designation at the University of Toronto. She comes to MGAC with 16 years of experience in project and program management, having run projects ranging from 7,000 SF to 1,200,000 SF at companies including Stantec, Halsall Engineering (now WSP), and Zeidler Partnership.
At MGAC, Isabella will be leading a team of project managers in our Toronto office, supporting the team and our clients with the development and/or renovation of projects from conception through move-in.
“MGAC’s portfolio of work and dedicated team is so great,” says Isabella. “The amount of clients that reach out to MGAC for help is a testament to the trust that they have built within the industry—and trust from both your clients and your peers is something that is very meaningful to me as I take on this role.”
“The entire Toronto office, and MGAC at large, has already welcomed Isabella with open arms,” says Mark Anderson, MGAC Founder and President. “Isabella is a high energy professional and a source of constant positivity and support to our people—which is something we truly value in our leaders. The team is lucky to have her.”
Isabella was born in a small town in Northern Ontario called Sault Ste. Marie, ON, but spent the majority of her childhood living in Mexico. She currently resides in Toronto, and she hopes that her lasting legacy will be to plan and implement projects that will support the growth of her community in a positive way. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her family—especially her four-year-old daughter, Nova—watching basketball, attending her soccer practices, and trying new recipes.
