MGAC Teams Up with TreePeople to Restore Santa Monica Mountains
Our Los Angeles office spent Sunday, February 23rd with TreePeople, an environmental non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire, engage, and support people to take personal responsibility for the urban environment. During our morning in the Santa Monica Mountains, we helped to restore the native Southern California landscape in Calabasas, clearing brush to help prevent the spread of future fires, as well as planting oak trees.
Our relationship with TreePeople started in 2019, when MGAC decided to do something a little different for our client holiday gifts. Instead of traditional presents, we selected non-profits in four of our office locations—Washington, DC; Los Angeles; Seattle; and Toronto—and made a $10,000 donation to each. Since selecting TreePeople in Los Angeles, we have been honored to partner with the non-profit through volunteering efforts.
