Project Summary

MGAC was engaged by TikTok to provide project management services for their new 232,000 SF East Coast Headquarters.

The project spans five floors of office and collaborative space to include several large assembly spaces and exterior workspace on the top floors of this New York City high-rise in Times Square. Focused on integrating technology into the workspace, this project created an agile work environment that includes creative studios, collaborative workspaces, and conferencing areas. To achieve the connection throughout the multi-floor headquarters, this project included structural work to remove existing concrete slabs on several floors to add a large interconnecting stair.

MGAC was engaged after a national competition to help this client lead the project through all phases of design and construction. A large portion of MGAC’s time was spent coordinating Owner preferences and decisions across multiple time zones, while developing corporate standards amid a changing regulatory environment.

Since beginning the New York headquarters, MGAC has been retained to perform site due diligence for additional locations in Washington, DC, Boston, and Northern California.
