Johns Hopkins University, Campus Center Program

Baltimore, Maryland, United States

Project Background

In the Spring of 2019, MGAC entered a competitive bid and was selected by Johns Hopkins University to provide program and project management support for 9 major capital projects and a campus master plan in Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC. As the Program Manager, MGAC supports a centralized management structure for these major capital projects and initiatives aimed at ensuring standardized methodologies, governance, reporting, and the leveraging of resources such as people, technology, and communication.

This program spans three of the Hopkins campuses in two cities, including new buildings on the Homewood Campus in Baltimore. MGAC is providing program and project support to the Hopkins Facilities and Real Estate staff; responsibilities include budget and schedule maintenance, cost tracking, scheduling, design management, risk assessment, and daily on-site construction oversight and reporting. This unique opportunity allows for MGAC to showcase our expertise and talent across multiple fields given the dynamic nature of the projects within the program.
