MGAC’s Marketing team attends SMPS Los Angeles’s The Leonardo 38th Annual Awards Banquet
The Society for Marketing Professional Services® (SMPS) represents a network of over 7,000 marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and consulting firms across the United States and Canada. The organization provides invaluable opportunities for connection, advocacy, and the sharing of business intelligence, such as SMPS Los Angeles’s The Leonardo 38th Annual Awards Banquet, held at Yamashiro in Hollywood on May 24th.
At this year’s ceremony, MGAC was recognized as the awardee for the Brand Experience / Marketing Communication Award. This award was received in person by Los Angeles-based representatives of our Marketing team: Chief Marketing Officer Sandra Grande, Creative Director Suling Pong, Marketing Manager Andrea Carusi, and Graphic Designer Hannah Mars.
The event celebrated three honorees, the recipients of its most prestigious awards, in addition to the Marketing Communication Awards. The Industry Award is given to two organizations each year—one in the private sector and one in the public sector—who have evolved to meet the needs of the market with remarkable creativity. As a member of the SMPS Los Angeles Board of Directors, Sandra Grande presented the award to its private sector recipient, Cedars-Sinai. The public sector award was presented to the Los Angeles Community College District. Inspired by Leonardo DaVinci, the Leonardo Award is given to an individual who displays a visionary spirit. This year’s Leonardo Award celebrated Kurt Yoshii, FSMPS, CPSM, PE, GE, ENV SP, in recognition of for his unwavering commitment to advocacy and his continual love of learning.
MGAC would like to congratulate this year’s honorees and award winners. Thank you to SMPS Los Angeles for an unforgettable evening.
