This summer, we had the privilege of serving as a host organisation for five students participating in the In2science Summer Programme. This initiative provides underprivileged Year 12 students in the UK with the valuable opportunity to engage in both online and in-person activities, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and self-assurance necessary for advancing in their STEM journey.

Within our London, Birmingham, and Glasgow offices, local MGAC hosts were assigned to these students. These hosts planned a comprehensive programme of activities for the students, which encompassed a range of assignments in collaboration with our project management and cost management teams. This programme included exposure to a CAD Measure package, an in-depth understanding of our project management processes, as well as guided site tours across projects in each respective region.

We were thrilled to welcome these students over the summer and look forward to exposing a new group of students to our industry in the coming year. The In2science Programme provided invaluable insights for this next generation and allowed our team to expand their mentorship skills.
