A Milestone Moment in T-Mobile’s Bellevue Headquarters Renovation
MGAC and T-Mobile have been collaborating since 2018 to deliver their new Bellevue campus renovation, and this week, we officially opened the doors to Building 1, revealing the new entrance and lobby! T-Mobile USA CEO John Legere called the new entrance “better than expectation,” and we’re thrilled to celebrate this major milestone moment as we work towards bringing the T-Mobile brand to life for over 6,000 employees and their visitors.
When guests arrive, they’ll be met with a dramatic circular entryway and an attention-grabbing lit magenta T, as well as a line of magenta lights framing the entrance. Designed by Gensler, the lobby welcomes visitors with a comfortable waiting area, plenty of tables and seating, a fireplace and a flatscreen TV.
“This is an exciting milestone for us as this new entrance is unmistakably T-Mobile and demonstrates the company’s commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for employees and guests. There are many more milestones we’re looking forward to as we progress in the ongoing campus renovation, but this one is special as it stands as a can’t-be-missed representation of T-Mobile’s vision,” said Ashley O’Connor, MGAC Managing Director.
Beyond the main entrance, MGAC also coordinated updates to the parking garage, which include electronic signage outside of the garage and an IoT parking solution that is updated regularly via the Luum app, ensuring that employees always know where there are available spaces. Further renovations will include the construction of an innovative and dynamic customer experience center and the introduction of a 40,000 SF campus amenity centerpiece with food and dining options, gaming, and collaborating meeting space.
In addition to providing project management and owner’s representation services, MGAC is also collaborating with T-Mobile on cost and risk management, procurement, technology solutions, and change management communication and messaging, as well as managing all project partners, budgets and timelines.
