Mark Gilhawley

Mark Gilhawley, Senior Director, leads our hospitality team across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa whilst also supporting client requirements in North America. With over 15 years of industry experience, Mark has provided owner’s representative, development management, project and cost management, and technical advisory services to a significant number of major institutional owners, funders, private equity, family office clients, and hotel groups on their capital expenditure plans internationally. He has been involved in hotel development, renovation, repositioning, value-add opportunities, and supported transactional related assignments.

Mark has a strong risk management acumen and brings a holistic approach to his projects that ensures his clients’ commercial interests are protected and that return on investment opportunities are maximized. He has worked extensively across planning, design, delivery, and operational stages of hospitality projects in multiple regions including the UK, U.S., Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Italy, Poland, Belgium, and The Netherlands. Mark received a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design and Technology from Loughborough University.
