I first expressed an interest in the built environment at the age of six. Luckily, I received early encouragement from my parents in the form of building blocks, and by my teenage years, I had graduated from toys to becoming a national drafting champion while spending my summers working for a construction firm. Needless to say, my career has been my passion for the last 40 years.
Working in project management means working as a part of a team of highly trained professionals from diverse backgrounds who are all challenged to accomplish something extraordinary together. I love how each project presents a new challenge to overcome, and I’ve always considered taking that first step into new territory to be the most exciting and simultaneously most intimidating part of my job. But to me, it’s this moment—standing on the precipice of something new, something challenging—that makes the end result so powerful.
Today, I serve as Managing Director at MGAC, providing strategic vision and executive guidance to multidisciplinary teams of management, design, and construction professionals. Prior to joining MGAC, I worked at Faithful+Gould, most recently as Manager Director, as well as held various positions at Jones Lang Lasalle Americas, Inc. and Ai / Ellstreet Corporation.
When I'm not working, my wife and I enjoy traveling, collecting art, and decorative pieces from across the globe. I am also a self-taught amateur chef, and one of my greatest joys is cooking for large groups of family and friends.
