MGAC was hired by Stanford Hotels to provide project management services for a new 52-story mixed-use hotel and residential tower in downtown Seattle with five levels of below-grade parking. The 480,250 SF building will include 257 guestrooms, 210 residential units, and 1,900 SF of retail. The 550-foot high-rise will also offer over 10,000 SF of hotel amenities and restaurants, including the highest rooftop bar in Seattle overlooking Puget Sound with the fastest express elevators (1,600 pfm) in Seattle. The project team is managing the entitlement process, with Master Use Permit (MUP) approval and ground-breaking mid-2020. MGAC is coordinating with the City and the surrounding neighbors to garner community support, engage stakeholders, adhere to local regulations, and obtain approvals. MGAC is also responsible for hiring and managing a comprehensive team of consultants, to include the architect of record, interior designer, branding company, geotechnical engineer, surveyor, lighting designer, loading dock and trash systems designer, BMU window washing system designer, AV / IT / telecom consultant, wayfinding designer, commissioning agent, FF&E procurement manager, permit expeditor, utilities coordinator, shoring design engineer, and general contractor.
