This is a unique opportunity for an experienced quantity surveying professional to step in and manage a team of high performing cost consultants.

Does this sound like you?

  • Solid quantity surveying experience in a cost consulting environment within the UK
  • Significant experience in the private real estate sectors managing projects autonomously across the full project cycle
  • MRICS qualified
  • Interest in managing a team and mentoring others through their careers
  • Ability to network with solid business development skills and an interest in generating new work
  • Passionate about sustainability within construction and wanting to work with like-minded people who are helping to action change

What you'll be doing (and why you'll love it)

  • Working in our central Birmingham office with a team of circa 40 mixed professionals (PM/QS/CDM)
  • You will be managing an array of cost consulting projects across the commercial, residential, higher education and mixed-use sectors
  • Delivering schemes across the full project cycle including cost planning through to post-contract and construction stages, seeing projects through from start to finish
  • Managing a team of cost consultants from assistants upwards, you will be focused on leading the cost consulting team on a day to day basis with full responsibility for 15+ direct reports
