I’m a self-proclaimed “people person.” I get my energy from connecting with others and making them laugh. I enjoy building trust and figuring out how to bring value to our partners and clients. The construction industry is so much more than brick and mortar, and I count myself fortunate to be able to work with all of the people involved—sometimes, for years—in making these builds possible.
I earned my Bachelor of Science and Psychology from James Madison University, and have spent my entire career focused on developing businesses within the Washington, DC commercial real estate community. I have experience delivering services from project inception through completion, and today, I serve as a Vice President of Business Development at MGAC.
There are so many things I love about MGAC—the reputation of our firm, the caliber of people working here and the incredible projects we have the privilege of partnering on with our clients. However, my favorite thing would have to be our collective entrepreneurial spirit. To me, entrepreneurialism is a mindset that allows me to stay focused on understanding new opportunities, questioning the current way of doing things and always striving to do better, and I feel lucky to be surrounded by colleagues who embrace this way of thinking as well.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and husband, riding my Peloton or soaking up some vitamin D on a run outside. I am an avid reader of nonfiction, and depending on the day, you can find me listening to podcasts, the Lumineers, or 90’s hip-hop on Pandora.
