Project Summary

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) comprises 12 bureaus with operations across the United States, six U.S. territories, and more than 70 international offices. Their mission is to drive U.S. economic competitiveness, create opportunities for all communities, and spur growth through quality jobs throughout the country.

MGAC provides procurement and project management services to DOC through an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a portfolio of over 65 projects. Our services include coordinating the purchase of office furniture, covering design, installation, reconfiguration and removal, as well as relocation management services in support of all bureaus / offices within the DOC.

The IDIQ was issued to streamline DOC’s procurement process while providing the customer access to various products. As part of our offering, MGAC has provided the DOC with the opportunity to procure furniture through our Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract with the General Services Administration (GSA).

The contract requires flexibility and the ability to procure products and services from several major furniture manufacturers and their dealer partners, including Herman Miller, Allsteel, Steelcase™, Inscape, Kimball, Teknion, Knoll, Paoli, National, JSI, and Logiflex.
