The Westin Pittsburgh Convention Center, Pittsburgh, PA
MGAC managed the comprehensive renovation of public space in the Westin Convention Center, Pittsburgh, including 6,500 SF of lobby space, 23 meeting rooms, and a 7,700 SF restaurant. The property is one of Westin’s first locations to introduce a new lobby concept that incorporates natural elements, vertical gardens, and flexible and functional seating.
The lobby renovation included new floor finishes, new FF&E, front desk check-in pods, architectural and decorative lighting, and the conversion of an existing sundry shop into a library. The restaurant portion included the replacement of the existing concept, along with new, interior finishes, lighting, furniture, audiovisual systems, and select food-service equipment. The existing public restrooms were renovated and the building exterior received new signage and enhancements at the porte-cochere, landscaping, and paving surfaces.
