T-Mobile, Integration Program

Locations Across the United States

Project Summary

While partnering with T-Mobile on their transformative headquarters program, MGAC was awarded the program management services associated with supporting the integration of T-Mobile and Sprint facilities. This program included a rapid deployment of new signage and a “Magenta Wash” across 4,000,000 SF, in 88 locations, within 90 days of the approved merger. This program also included design and construction management of 10 customer experience centers and offices nationwide. These 10 locations included five renovations and consolidations of existing facilities and five new construction projects.

The first customer experience center project, located in Richmond, VA, was a 135,000 SF adaptive reuse project which consisted of converting a former Sam’s Club into T-Mobile’s Richmond Customer Care Center. MGAC managed the interior fit-out that included open office space, training rooms, boardrooms, fitness center, theater room, game room, and cafeteria. In addition to the interior, exterior work included 24 new windows, two new storefront entrances, 3,000 SF employee patio with kitchen, fireplace, seating, and a basketball court. MGAC worked under a tight deadline and was able to deliver the interior demolition through FF&E delivery and installation within eight months.

In addition to the Richmond, VA customer experience center, MGAC has managed or is currently managing customer experience centers for T-Mobile in Las Vegas, NV, Kingsburg, CA, Overland Park, KS, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, and Rochester, NY.
