In 2009, MGAC supported Hilton Worldwide in its headquarters relocation from Beverly Hills, CA to McLean, VA, providing project management, program management, site selection and real estate acquisition, design and construction management, furniture procurement, and move management services.
Since it’s move, the number of employees at Hilton has increased, and it became clear that something new was needed. Hilton envisioned a new dining and meeting space that would increase employee engagement. Once again, they looked to MGAC for project management services.
In November 2017 the Social opened for business, complete with a substantial recreation area, six separate food stations, a beverage station, and a full service Starbucks. Located in the ground floor, the space includes textured walls, wood-slat ceilings, projected TV screens, a game area, a terrace, and soft, energy-efficient lighting throughout. The mix of restaurants and teaming spaces encourages formal and informal meet-ups among Hilton Team Members and guests alike.
