Delta Calgary South Hotel, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
MGAC managed the phased renovation of the Delta Calgary South Hotel as part of Delta’s recent efforts to reinvigorate its hotels through modern designs and innovations. Phase 1 involved the renovation of the Tower Building, an eight-story, 126-guestroom facility. This phase included new softgoods and casegoods, corridors and elevator lobbies, entry doors, hardware, renovated bathrooms, upgraded fire and life safety systems, and new security measures. The first phase also included renovations of public spaces, such as the indoor pool, fitness center, lobby, public restrooms, and lounge.
Phase 2 encompasses the Atrium Building, which consisted of a three-story building with 127-guestrooms. Renovations included new softgoods and casegoods, fire and life safety systems, corridors to match the Tower Building, an atrium, café, and extensive technology and security upgrades. All guestrooms within the hotel were redesigned to fit within Delta’s new ModeRoom concept. This versatile new design encourages interaction and provides personal spaces for guests to sit, connect, and relax.
