M&E Cost Consultant - Data Centres - DACH region

Does this sound like you?

• You are an experienced senior level quantity surveying professional with a background in the Mechanical & Electrical (MEP) disciplines, ideally within a consulting environment
• You have strong feasibility and cost planning experience
• You have worked within the data centres sector either for the client or in a consulting capacity
• Strong experience in the built environment with exposure to both pre and post contract construction stages
• Passionate about sustainability and an interest in carbon foot-printing and management
• Familiarity with and commercial awareness of life cycle project costing
• You are more than happy travelling for work and will might even speak an European language with potential rights to work in the EU

What you'll be doing (and why you'll love it)

• You will be part of a well-established, national cost management team working on data centre projects predominantly as we expand our global service offering in this sector to our international clients
• Oversee the estimation and cost management of all MEP elements of the project
• Emphasis on estimation through the design phase and transition to cost and commercial management of MEP as the project progresses through planning, contract phases, construction and handover
• Regular travel to Europe-based site will be required - between 50-75% of the time is expected to be on site after pre-con stage
• You may want to be purely delivery-focused on data centre projects, which is fine with us, or you might be interested in helping carve out our M&E team across the European business generally - either way, this means autonomy for you and very strong career prospects as our M&E service line gathers pace
