01 Our Team
With a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from Hampton University and an MBA in general management from Howard University, I’ve been developing and managing various projects for over 16 years. Having experiences in both architecture and construction has given me the ability to pull from a unique set of skills across functions that are beneficial to our projects. The most significant strength I bring to our clients is the ability to listen to their needs and custom tailor a work plan to help them achieve their goals.
The National Museum of African American History and Culture was my first MGAC project assignment and a very unique opportunity. As a senior project coordinator, I worked on behalf of the exhibit fabricator to plan and facilitate the interior construction coordination and exhibit fabrication/ installation at the museum. MGAC also worked diligently alongside the General Contractor and Smithsonian’s Installation teams. Construction of the museum was a true display of teamwork by a multitude of entities, people, and cultures that came together to achieve a common purpose of telling a new story on our National Mall. I am both humbled and honored to have been part of such a prestigious project.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me traveling, watching football, playing music, drilling jui jitsu, practicing art, and spending time with friends and family.
