MGAC was the Owner’s Representative for this 250,000 SF data center/office building complex to meet the demands of the U.S. Federal Reserve White Paper on financial business continuity. The date center features 60,000 SF of raised floor area, complete FM 200 coverage with VESDA, 125 W/SF design criteria, 2N utility service at 35 kV, UPS at 2(N+1), PDU/RPP provisioned at 2N for dual cord connection, 72 hours of fuel, 72 hours of chilled water storage, and a 2N mechanical infrastructure. Extensive physical and biometric security measures were included in the design. The project was designed and built from project inception to opening in twenty-two months. This project was the first data center in history to achieve LEED™ certification.
