MGAC Projects Top Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2017 Book of Lists
The Los Angeles Business Journal has released its 2017 Book of Lists, and it’s looking like a big year for MGAC’s Cost + Risk team. Two of the team’s projects are among the top five of LABJ’s Largest Construction Projects of 2017 list – with Wilshire Grand Center claiming the coveted top spot.
MGAC is providing cost and risk management, cost estimating, and change order evaluation services for the Wilshire Grand Center, a $1 billion and 73-story mixed-use tower that recently earned itself the title of tallest building west of the Mississippi River. Upon completion later this year, the tower will combine 400,00 SF of Class ‘A’ office space, a 900-key hotel, and 45,100 SF of new restaurant and retail space.
Landing in the fifth spot is the 2.8 million-square-foot Century Plaza development, which will feature two new 46-story luxury residential towers, restaurants, retail shops, and the renovation of the existing Century Plaza Hotel. MGAC is providing cost and risk management services for the development, including independent cost review for permit and bid packages.
