Meet Our New Regional Vice President Tom Ryan
MGAC’s New York office is one team member stronger with the recent addition of Regional Vice President Tom Ryan, a corporate real estate veteran. Tom comes to MGAC with more than 25 years experience in domestic and international design, construction, and project management. Most recently, he served as Principal at Swift Construction, and was formerly Director of Projects at JRM Construction Management. His other positions include serving as Vice President of Real Estate Development for LVMH, the world’s leading luxury products group, where he oversaw their office, retail, and distribution portfolio including re-stack of 598 Madison Avenue and 1 East 57th Street, inclusive of Louis Vuitton’s flagship boutique.
In this newly created Regional Vice President role, Tom will lead MGAC’s Northeastern business development, strengthen our New York presence, and oversee a team of project managers who support work for our New York City-based clients.
As a seasoned industry veteran, Tom loves working alongside creative, energetic learners and believes that each client and project provides new opportunities for growth. Like so many of us at MGAC, he believes there’s no greater adrenaline rush than a successful project and a satisfied client.
Aside from work, Tom is also active in his community. In 2002, he and his wife established the Thomas W. Ryan Charitable Fund, in honor of Tom’s father. The Charitable Fund provides annual grants to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Program. He and his family also donate their time, talents, and resources to the Red Bank New Jersey Food Bank and St. Leo’s Church in Middletown, New Jersey.
Born in Brooklyn and now a New Jersey resident, Tom loves to travel, hike with his wife and three children, and attend his son Thomas’s ice hockey games. On Sundays, you’ll find him in his kitchen making dinner for family and friends.
